Pedal and Paddle Kent Day Trip

Our Pedal and Paddle ride is a new edition this year. We have teamed up with the great team at Canoe Wild to give you an adventure covering both land and river!

Trip Overview

This ride simply has it all! Expect natural forest paths, paved tracks through the countryside, designated paths hugging the Kent coastline and a beautiful paddle down the Stour River. You are guaranteed to have a great trip with some great diverse cycling featuring traffic free routes with coastal, woodland and country trails with a magnificent paddle to boot! Join us for an amazing pedal and paddle adventure where highlights start straight away as we set off from Wye, joining the Pilgrams Cycle Trail into Canterbury. After sampling the architecture and water ways of Canterbury, the route follows the stunning River Stour into Fordwich where you have the chance to experience paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing for an hour. After wetting the toes with a paddle, you will have the chance to wet your tongue with a pint at the George and Dragon, before it’s time to hit the road again for our last stretch towards Reculver, back along the coast to Whitstable before joining the famous Crab and Winkle Way - an 8km-long disused railway route, down to Canterbury.
