What makes us unique

Wellness-Focused Cycle Adventures

We believe that movement is the heart of the journey. That’s why our tours follow the natural rhythm of self-powered cycling, with simple wellbeing practices gently integrated into each tour including yoga, stretching, breathing and mindfulness. These moments invite you to slow down, tune in, and experience travel with greater presence — reconnecting you with yourself, culture, and the landscapes you move through.

Depending on the journey, wellbeing elements may include:

  • Gentle yoga and stretching to support recovery and ease

  • Guided breathing practices to settle the nervous system

  • Mindfulness and guided reflection — in nature and through simple guided reflective practices that support self-awareness along the journey

  • Quiet pauses to reflect, notice, and simply be present

Everything is accessible, optional, and guided with care. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

Cycling already reconnects you with your body. These wellbeing practices deepen that connection by creating space for greater awareness and presence, a calmer and more grounded experience of travel, and a deeper relationship with place, people, and self — supporting personal growth. Touring in this way isn’t about pushing harder or doing more. It’s about travelling with purpose — and returning home feeling clearer, stronger, and more connected.

Self-carry tours

Do you love being adventurous? ‘Self-carry’ means you carry your belongings with you in panniers for the entire journey. It’s you and your bike along with our experienced team leading the tours and keeping you safe. Our European tours come with a hybrid or mountain bike with two panniers as standard. Riding with two full panniers sounds like a difficult task, but with an effective packing strategy for your panniers, along with the right bike and the right mindset, it’s a lot easier than it sounds. Riding this way allows for the best adventure you can have on a bike, it’s eco-friendly and you’ll come away with a great sense of achievement. All of which are really important experiences we would love to provide for you on our tours.

Having no support vehicle might be a different experience for those who are used to having one. However our experienced team have been running tours like this for years; All our guides are fully qualified, bike tech and first aid trained. Much like a team on a professional tour, we all bind together as a team and help each other during the tougher sections, laugh and have a chat on the easier sections, and our team are always there to support you to get through. Still unsure about carrying all your stuff in a pannier? Check out our how to pack a pannier video.

Traffic-Free Routes

Breathe easy and experience amazing cycling on some of the best cycle routes you will ever encounter. Our tours are designed to avoid traffic as much as possible with an average daily cycle distance of 40 to 60km. Traffic-free routes is what we specialise in and it’s what we are all about. Cars and bikes in all honesty don’t really mix. Our aim is to avoid traffic and take you down the roads, cycleways, tracks and trails less travelled! Where you can immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the landscape you are riding. If it means venturing down a walking trail or over a field to avoid a busy road, then we will take that route! We find the best trails in the world and Europe has no shortage of them. The routes we take you on are the easiest paths to the best views and most epic cultural experiences. Whether you are cruising high up in the mountains, along a flat rail trail or a quiet alleyway through quaint cobblestone streets; traffic-free gives you the best adventures. Because these routes are both on and off-road, hybrid or mountain bikes are what we ride for the most enjoyable experience you can have.

What we are not

Our tours are not tailored towards road cycling enthusiasts. Our aim is not just to get from A to B as quickly as possible. We take in the sights and smells along the way. Above all, without a sense of adventure and a ‘give it a go’ attitude you won’t get the most enjoyment out of our tours.

Our objective is to provide the best cycle experiences full of cultural wonderment, culinary delights and self-discovery. There will be times where everyone will have to step outside their comfort zone… rainy days, steep hills, speaking a different language and challenges throughout the tour. It’s all part of the experience and those who get the most out of their tour embrace all of this.
